New England means maple trees. This quilt is colored with the hues of fall leaves and maple syrup. Machine embroidered leaf edges, satin stitched nose stickers, machine quilted on a domestic machine, and an unusual border treatment with hand couching and loop edging.

Inspiration Draws From Nature’s Art
An original design with original drawings of various real and imaginary ferns surrounded by traditional log cabin blocks. The quilt features trapunto, satin stitch applique, free motion quilting, hand applied cording and an original bias cord edge.
