The object of this quilt was to use unusual, low-value colors, and try out micro-stippling and embroidery. It became a tribute quilt to my dad, who taught me to sew. This is an original design, based on a traditional block. It is paper pieced and machine quilted on a home machine, and also includes machine embroidery, trapunto, and hand-applied cording. There are over seven miles of pink quilting thread.
